Atty. Gladys Nalda is the President and CEO of MRC Allied Inc., a public company listed with the Philippine Stock Exchange that holds a diversified portfolio in property development and mining exploration, and is currently pursuing renewable energy projects.

 

She is former Vice President for Legal and Corporate Affairs of PNOC Renewables Corporation, the renewable energy arm of the PNOC Group of Companies. She was previously connected with PNOC Exploration Corporation and the Department of Energy as legal counsel. Prior to joining the government, she served as Corporate Secretary and General Counsel to various private corporations.

 

She is a lawyer by profession with special background in commercial law, project finance and renewable energy. She obtained her Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of the Philippines and her Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Santo Tomas. She further completed a certificate course in International and Comparative Laws at the University of Strasbourg in France. She is also a graduate of the Professional Directors Program of the Institute of Corporate Directors.
